The Master in Airports and Air Navigation was presented at the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels- Barcelona by the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia Mr Antoni Giró, the director of the EETAC Mr Jordi Berenguer,  the representative of the Catalan Government Mr Damià Calvet, the director of Barcelona Airport Mrs Sonia Corrachano, the Director of Technology & Training of the Irish Aviation Authority Mr Philip Hughes, The Manager of Training of Airways New Zealand Mr John McKenzie and the Director of Barcelona Air Navigation Center Mr Alex Bachs

The Staff & the Center

Organization participated by the British company Airports and Navigation Solutions and the Spanish AERIA, Barcelona Air Navigation Center is established at the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels- Barcelona of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. We have signed several memorandums of understanding  with local and international public institutions and companies within the aeronautical sector.
We deal with the coming challenges in the aviation sector, with a center of excellence devoted to airport management and air navigation, in order to offer a high level training according to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements and other advanced aviation agencies, along with Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs)

We have a team of instructors and professionals with an extensive experience in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, Scotland, Sweden or Malaysia, and working for prestigious organizations such as Eurocontrol, CAA (Civil Authoriry Aviation UK), SERCO and NATS.
Students can learn with a state of the art air traffic control 3D HIFISIM (High-fidelity Simulator) simulator, able to represent real scenarios and traffic of any airport or aerodrome, through the Real World® operating system. It is considered the highest category in simulation according to EATCHIP (European Air Traffic Control Harmonisation and Integration Programme).
